a conservative caller! jerry "has it all wrong" about new orleans. local officials are responsible; they are the frontline in this emergency. what did they do? cry on the radio. the mayor will take the brunt, followed by the governor, according to the caller. no tears in mississippi, which took the brunt of the storm. (which is, yes, technically true, but isn't dealing w/ the new orleans flooding.) nope, the governor of mississippi is a man--and a republican, and the former rnc chair, unlike kathleen blanco.
