chief justice william rehnquist has died.

he died less than an hour ago, and, even though it's labor day weekend, fox has already had on greta van susteren, lis wiehl, judge andrew napolitano, and mark levin, and, since midnight, has had sean hannity and alan colmes in studio. a large story, to be sure, but, my, will this be big for fox; by comparison, msnbc and cnn are running repeats. expect natalee holloway--remember joran? he was released today--expect her story to--ooh, it's late and i can't think of a synonym for "disappear." how about "to follow the path of chandra levy following 9/11"?

questions: will the roberts confirmation be pushed back (as dems have been pushing for before rehnquist's death)? when will bush appoint a new chief justice? and is he or she--oh, okay, you can laugh at that. alternate question: will he promote scalia or thomas? when is rehnquist's funeral scheduled?
